In the past, I have actually gone out and obtained shows, even entire movies to play on my device. The process was as clumsy as it was time-consuming. It's not possible to just drag-drop a movie into itunes, it has to be converted first. Itunes inherent converter is hit/miss; it might work, it might not. For this reason and many more, my Videos app is quite empty, and it's likely to remain so for some time.
